Question Game moved to M.2 but HDD still does the heavy lifting it seems when loading

A couple years ago I only had a 128GB Sata SSD and a 2TB WD Enterprise drive and to save space on my OS drive I moved my game to my HDD and I got a 970 Evo a year later and moved my games to that and I just got a 990 Evo where I have moved majority of my games to. But I just now noticed that my game load time is so slow because I'm pretty sure it's still loading off my HDD when all files are on my 990 Evo (HDD is at 100% usage when loading and my 990 isn't being used). (This is only one game. My other games are loading just fine) (My user folder for the game is on my 970 Evo)

Is this Steam?

Have you looked on hdd (assuming Steam) and checked Steam folder? Check game file options too in Steam where the folder location is.

Yes this is Steam. And I have checked my steamapps folder and it's not there and when I click browse local files It takes me to my 990

Hmm you didn't happen to move pagefile to the hdd as well to save space and forgot about it?

Might have to backup your save/config file and reinstall game. Try first verify game files if you haven't yet.

It was at one point the pagefile but I moved it to my 970. And it's not a bad idea to uninstall and reinstall

I ended up finding a couple old files for the game on my HDD and I moved them and my HDD isn't being used anymore (I don't believe) I still have slow load times but this is a game that has a huge modding community and I think me having like 128 mods active isn't helping (this game being Beamng.Drive)
