Recently, I've been plagued with performance issues in Rainbow Six Siege. I constantly have sudden fps drops while playing. Benchmarking the game sees the CPU (Ryzen 5 1600) use about 60-70% while the GPU (GTX 1060 6GB) is running 95-100%. I've also attempted to defrag my hard drive (about 90% full) with no success. Every time the defragging completes, its shows that the hard drive is still 12% fragmented rather than 0%.
Not sure what the problem could be. I have:
1. Changed GeForce monitor settings
2. Uninstalled/Reinstalled the game from Steam
3. Defragged my hard drive (To no avail, as previously mentioned
4. Changed Window Settings (Borderless Fullscreen/Fullscreen)
5. Numerous other things that I could state if asked
Help to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated!
