[SOLVED] gameplay flicker

Can someone tell me why my gameplay sometimes flickers and i lose framerate. It happens randomly and the only way i can get 'fix it' is by restarting my pc.
Also this is my 3rd GPU that i've bought and they all did the same flicker. Could it be the PSU?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Matisse 3.6GHz 6-Core
GPU: Sapphire 5700 XT NITRO+ Overclocked
Motherboard: ASUS B450-F ROG STRIX
Ram: Crucial Ballistix Gaming RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200
PSU: gamdias kratos m1-750w
Monitor: AOC 27" 144hz

Im using an HDMI
Also, the video card is sold as "overclocked". I did nothing to it.

do you have the option of display-port on the monitor if so suggest you buy one and try with that because you will get far better picture and will probably get rid of the flickers that you are getting.

I just tried it with a display port but nothing has changed, it still flickers.
