I'm also a lefty and have adapted to a right-handed world as you have. I play online FPS games, BF3 in particular, and am finding that maybe I'm just a hair too slow in aiming because I often lose when I'm in a face-to-face shootout. I have no issues with keyboarding with my left hand and have always considered that an advantage. But mousing is another story and I'm beginning to think that it's hurting me. I don't really want to switch now since it would probably take me weeks to months to adapt to switching hands. Was just wondering if any other lefties are having issues keeping up with aiming using a right-hand mouse.

I don't know how you guys do it, i mean i can use a right handed mouse with my left. The simple fact is its my weaker hand. I did use to use my middle finger as my fire and index as aim. I noticed i was slow in reacting while playing BF2 so i forced myself to switch buttons round to suit left handed users. Best thing i did gaming wise. Just look at the numpad with the arrow keys. We couldn't have asked for a better key setup. Spews all over the offset wasd keys and with the RAZER left handed mouse i don't even have to think about the mouse buttons its a left handed setup automatically. I'd say take the beating you'll receive for a week and you'll end up a better player aiming with your stronger hand. You'll hate it to begin with though.

there are products out there to get around this, as for a keyboard i use ROCCAT ARVO this is a small gaming keyboard with macros place to the left and right of the up arrow keys, the number pad has also been aligned directly above the arrow keys making a keypad of 18 keys that are on that block, your thumb can reach a staggering 8 additional keys on the main board with 3 more macros under the easy to reach space bar so you can mouse with your left hand and have a game changing anti ghost keyboard, The only mouse i will ever use is a ROCCAT COVA+ as this has 16 functions and i can change my DPI + sensitivity in an instant to suit my gaming needs at that moment, the easy shift key is a revelation and gives you loads of functions

I've been using right handed mice and keyboards for 15years and I started to feel pain in my right hand as the games needed me to do stuff that I'm not capable to do with it like perfect aiming and so forth. I got used to the right hand setup since I started using right handed mice and keyboards, as some of you guys, but changed my mind about it for about less than a month ago since I've seen more games demanding more pressure on it. I can't do rapid perfect circles with a right handed mouse but I can with a left handed one (was something that bothered me to the extreme cause of the game OSU!).
I changed to left handed mice and after about a week i got the same perfection as I did with my right hand. You have the sense built in your brain, you just need to change mouse usage to make the mind rebuild the connections for it. It feels horrible at first, not being able to aim correctly and so forth, but as you continue, it feels better and then flawless. I seriously prefer using left handed mice ever since I changed and suggest you do the change if you are a lefty. You can always step back to the right hand if you want, I still have the same sense I had from when I used it. But as a lefty, left is better and easier to improve.
The time it takes to get the same result as your right hand might take more time than it took for me since it always depends on the user. But don't cut down on sleep just cause you want to try to train your left hand all night and make a miracle fast change, since sleeping is what repairs and rebuilds your brains "connections" and make you actually be able to use it correctly. Also the reason why you should sleep properly during training days.

All keyboards are left handed, they were built before mice existed and still are built with the numpad in the wrong damn place to be productive as a right handed person. IT SHOULD BE STANDARD!!!

But as far as your issue goes, rebind keys to the middle/right of the keyboard, as in O,K,; or P,L,' instead of W,A,D or E,S,F.
