games and razer tiamat volume problem

hey guys, i am having an issue with games and my razer tiamat 7.1 headset. Outside of games my headset works perfectly, bass sounds great and i have all my eq set up nicely for music and such. however as soon as i open a game, SC2 and counter strike for example, the bass dissapears from my headphones and everything seems a little flat, all of my settings in windows remain the same and the ingame options match, 7.1, high sound quality and such. i can't seem to find a fix. please help

sound card is Soundmax integrated 7.1 audio.

any suggestions would be appreciated 😀

i went to update it and i do already have the latest updates for directx.
