Games are LAGGING all of a sudden

I've had my computer(custom built) for 2 years and i never had any problems with games. But all of a sudden my games started to lag. I have good internet connection.Web browsing, Downloading and streaming videos are perfectly fine and not a problem. i played left 4 dead 2 on single player and that seems fine. But when i play games like League of Legends or CS:GO it lags once i get into games. In league my ping gets high for no reason and in CS:GO i have good ping but my game still lags. I dont know what the problem is PLEASE HELP!

system:
Intel i5 3.0ghz
Gigabyte superoverclocked GTX 560
8gb Ram dual channel
700 watt corsair PSU

i scanned for virus and malware,. i reinstalled windows, updated drivers, defragged everything, took apart my comp and cleaned everything, put new thermal paste on, and my GPU and CPU temps are fine.

This is a weird solution, but I think it could help (unless you are playing your games through the Internet).

I was playing DuckTales: Remastered and I had a lag issue. I at first thought it was the video card, but it turned out it had to do with how many CPUs the game was actually using. I went to the Task Manager/Process selection and selected my game's exe file and set the Affinity to 1 CPU. Although Ducktales Remastered is not Battlefield 4 which is more graphics intensive.

Try out that solution out and see what happens.
