Games capped to 60 fps GSYNC off

hi guys i just brought a Acer 24" Predator XB240H 144 hz no gsync but any game i play the fps is set to 60 fps ive turned gsync off in everything and still 60fps the only time it goes off 60 fps is if theres an fps limiter in game like forza horizon 4 thanks

do you have frames capped in riva tuner?

Have you turned V-Sync off or G-Sync ? V-Sync limits FPS
Have you set the screen refresh in the Nvidia Panel to 144Hz ?

Sounds to me like you have the refresh rate set to 60Hz.

Right-click on Windows Desktop > Display Settings > Advanced Display Settings > Display Adapter Properties For Display 1 > Monitor > Screen Refresh Rate (set to 144Hz etc.)

If any other applications are capping the fps, you'll need to disable those.

After that you should be good.

In Forza 4 there is a frame limiter, it's in advanced video options (or something like that). Turn it off, or set it to 144 or maybe 72 (half-rate refresh).

ive done all that still the same issue it laggs really bad in game too in forza horizon 3 its uncapped and it drops frams from like 140 to 40 back to 140

How are you managing Screen Tearing with no V-Sync or G-Sync ?
