Question Games crash

Hello,
i have some issues with my pc my games keep crashing on random moments and i don't know what it could be.
My specs are:

I clean reset my whole computer, reinstalled drivers but nothing worked.

Windows 11
CPU: AMD ryzen 5 3600
GPU: GTX 1080ti
Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2
RAM: 16,0GB Dual-Channel DDR4

The cpu goes up to 80/90 degrees while playing warzone for example, i am thinking of buying a new cooler but don't know which one.
The rest of my components don't overheat at all and are at normal temperatures.

80 to 90 degrees is way to hot its most likely crashing due to thermal

what is your case and cooler ?

Just had my first blue screen while gaming and my whole pc restarted.
Btw yesterday i put new thermal paste on my cpu and it made no difference, i have stock cooler and a sharkoon case ( Don't exacly know which one anymore).

its your cpu thats crashing

did you clean of the existing paste.

are you able to take a picture of the case ? inside and outside gives us a idea what cooler to recomend.

Look in Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.

Either one or both tools may provide more detailed information regarding error codes, warnings, etc. with respect to the crashes.

Look for entries just before or at the time of the crashes.

And look for patterns as well.

Evet viewer shows all kinds of errors and warnings but i have no idea what they mean tbh. Kind of a noob when it comes to pc´s.

I did some research and many people recommended the Artic Freezer 34 Esports Duo, so i bought it but now it goes even up to 93 degrees. So the cooler didn´t do much

might sound daft but did you remove the plastic of the bottom of the cpu cooler theres a film usually on the copper plate.


are you able to take a picture of inside your case see if theres anything amiss

Yes i did, i just let a friend of mine install the cooler and check if anything was missplaced or amiss. Unfortunately this site wont let me post a picture. But i played apex a moment ago and the cpu went to 100 degrees.

I think the cpu is dead for real
