Hey there ! Sry for my english not a native speaker.
My pc:
CPU - Intel Core i3-3220/3.30GHz 3MB LGA 1155
GPU - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 2048MB DDR5/192bit OC VERSION
RAM - 4GB, 1333MHz, DDR3, NON-ECC, CL9
MB - Gigabyte GA-B75M-D2V, B75, DualDDR3-1600(GA-B75M-D2V)
PS - Corsair VS 450W ATX 120mm (CP-9020049-EU)
To be honest I am overlocking noobie. I mean Ive watched some tutorials to get the gist of it but I need some help. Im using msi afterburner , here is a screenshot of my settings http://i.imgur.com/XKLyS19.jpg.After changing clocks my game crashes after some seconds of playing or even at loading screen , I tested Dark souls III and Rocket League ,I can see some 3-5 fps increase. When I try go even higher with core / memory clock my pc freezes or there are artifacts when im launching the game.Gpu temp is around ℃ 40-50 C when in game , ofc it will get higher after some , usualy its around 50-70 MAX and im keeping my fan on lower speed since i hate how loud it is.Gpu usage is around 100%
My question is :
Should I even bother overlocking with this specs when this happens ? I dont want my gpu to blow up or something :D , thanks in advance.

Solution
Do not ever try to limit the fan speed, even if it is loud and annoying. Some hardware is made better than others, and you may have gotten a card that doesn't operate very well outside of stock speeds. If you are only seeing a small fps increase, you may want to consider upgrading the CPU if you are concerned about future performance. The i7 3770 is a really good CPU for a fraction of the price of Skylake or Kaby Lake processors.

Solution
No you should not bother. Overclocking is not something that is certain to work. Even if you can overclock the card, it may not help much. Overclocking is an experiment, to see if you can and by how much. It is not a solution to low performance. If you need more CPU performance then you need a more powerful CPU, overclocking won't change that.

Also, that power supply is adequate for normal operation, I would not use it for overclocking. The hidden cost of overclocking is you need better components if you want to overclock. Better power supply, a better motherboard, and better cooling. All that costs money, which is why overclocking is not really a solution.
