I repasted my card earlier today and when I used it, it worked for a good 30 minutes and more but when I changed games, it started artifacting and crashed. After that, I tried turning it on, which it didn't. Remounted it and reseated the PCIE cable and it worked. But somehow when under load, the game I'm playing freezes but the mouse and keyboard are responsive. The only problem is that it's so slow that I can't do anything besides move the mouse and keyboard.
edit:
The game is ZZZ for the first 30 mins and the switch was genshin. Both were under 80c when I was playing and crashed on Genshin after 20 minutes or so. First, it slowed down so much that the game was unresponsive but the mouse still moved and the keyboard still worked but each press caused the pc to freeze, 10 seconds after that, it showed artifacts on the screen similar to bright lights, balls of light, etc. Then the pc showed a white screen filled with random black lines. Boxed lines and straight lines. I can't show the image again because it showed only once and I wasn't able to capture it. The only problem now is the freezing when there are any changes on the screen. The changes I mean are when opening applications, it freezes and returns after 1-2 sometimes 5 seconds, or when right-clicking it freezes before showing up fully and freezes again once I press the refresh button.
Just to clarify, the games were running at 60 fps dropping only 3-5 frames during some loads which is what I normally experience before repasting the GPU.
