This happens every time I play a game right after I turn on my computer, the game will freeze and all I can hear is sound. So, I have to go into task manager and force close that game that froze then I have to re open the game to play it, but after I do this, I can play the game all day without an issue. Then when I shut down the computer for the day then re boot it back up, I freeze when playing the game and I have to force close then everything is fine after. I don't believe this is a RAM issue because wouldn't RAM cause the entire computer to shut down not just have one game freeze? I would really like some input on this.

Can you give us your computer specs, so people can answer your question better?

Of course, sorry about that.
i7 7700k
GTX 1060 6GB
8GB Corsair RAM 2133MHz
Asus Strix Z270E motherboard

Is it normal for the RAM to show up as 1070MHz instead of the 2133?

MERGED QUESTION
Question from crizonx : "Game freezes every 5-10 minutes after boot. Don't know where to post this."

This only happens if I play a game 5-10 minutes after I boot up the PC. Once the game freezes, I have to go into task manager and force close it. After I force close it, I can play all day without freezing. However, if I shut off the computer to head out and then turn it on to play some games when I get back home, same thing happens. Game freezes 5-10 minutes after boot but after I force close it through task manager I can play all day without freezing until the next time I shut off my computer. I don't believe this is a CPU temp issue or a RAM issue because then the entire computer would shut down, I can still hear myself moving and players talking when the game freezes. GPU is at a good temp of 55 degrees so I doubt it is a GPU temp issue.

Specs:

i7 7700k

GTX 1060 6GB

8GB Ram 2133MHz(Is it normal for 2133MHz to show up as 1070MHz?)

Asus Strix Z270E Motherboard

CX 650W Corsair Power Supply

I could be wrong, but that ram problem does not sound right. Maybe something is wrong with you ram? That could totally produce an effect like the one shown here.
