I recently had an issue with a virus (that's all taken care of) but now whenever I try to play certain games, they freeze whenever I get into them. These games include CS:GO, Rainbow Six Siege, and Brawlhala.

I've tried doing the system file checker in Windows, along with multiple virus scans, and nothing shows up. Tried verifying game files, GPU/CPU temps are fine, etc. There is NOTHING pointing to any problems.

I had even uninstalled these games and reinstalled and these issues still show up. Any help would be appreciated, as I am a loss for what is going on. It's only on certain games as well, other games run fine.

System:
i7-7700k @ 4.8GHz
Kraken x62
MSI Z270A
240gb SSD
1 TB HDD
Gigabyte GTX 1070ti triple fan
600 watt PSU

try reverting your overclock settings, sometimes causes instabilities.
cleaning up all the hard drives and reinstall the os is the only way to get rid of viruses AFAIK

I've never had issues with my overclock, this started last week with no changes to the system.
And no, you don't require an OS re-installation depending on how bad of a virus you have.
