games keep crashing and computer keeps "running into problems"

Whenever I play any of my games they crash after 20-30 min of play time. so much that I have started really monitoring the temps and all. But when it crashes the gpu temps are at 50-60, and cpu temps are 40-50. I've checked for any driver updates and windows updates and they're all up to date. This problem started occurring when i replaced my damaged hard drive with a new one but I cant see why that would be the problem. although my disk usage does like to peak to 100% most of the time. someone please help!

Consider that the new drive may be faulty. Back up your data and verify the backup.

Use Task Manager and Resource Monitor to discover what is taking/using 100% disk usage.

What OS are you running? Is it on the new drive? Did you do a clean OS install?
Have you used windows disk cleanup? CHKDSK?
Defrag?

i3-8100 supported memory speed is DDR4-2400MHz.

3200MHz memory likely needs to be configured to 2400 or 2666 on that CPU.

I dont think that having 3200 Mhz memory is the cause because even though i3 8100 supports only 2400 mhz the only think that that will happen with using a 3200mhz stick is that it will not give the performance boost.

The only problem is that the windows drivers might be corrupted. Just reinstall windows and make sure you have the latest nvidia drivers running. I had this problem too and this fixed it for me.
