Hello this is my first time on this forum and it's to ask what might be the issue of why certain games. (Particularly some source games, older direct X games like Lego Star wars TCS or Arkham Asylum) Usually with most I'd just make them windowed borderless and work pretty normally but if they automatically go to fullscreen the PC crashes through black screen. This has also happened predominantly on Blizzard games or games on Blizzard, first with Modern Warfare then on Overwatch which worked fine last year.

FX-9590
Corsair Vengeance 1666 mhz x 4
FX-990FXA UD5
MSI 4gb 290X
None of this happened when I first got the PC and now it's been a major problem that prevents me from playing anything with friends.
One other minor thing is that the pc stays on while it happens but everything else stops on screen.
