So for the last couple of days games have been acting very weird for example in PUBG the games take very long to load and sometimes i get stuck in the loading screen and i need to altf4. Once i get into the game sometimes buildings won't render and its just a plain map. This is not just a PUBG problem im having becouse i have the same sorts of issues in Battlefield 1 and Battlefront 2 were the games does not render my gun or character somtimes. First i thought that my HDD was failing but i ran crystaldiskinfo on it and it said that everything was fine, Please help me fix this problem.

Check CPU/GPU/RAM/Disk usage during games. My guess is that your hard drive is constantly pegged at 100% since you're loading games at highest settings, which is probably causing the drive to lag really far behind since modern hard drives are unbelievably slow in comparison to an SSD.

Not having an SSD is limiting you, which is my best guess. Only real way to fix it with your current hardware is to lower settings down in games.

I would first try some single player games that don't use the internet and see if there's a difference.

If there isn't, I would do a checkdisk on your hard drive. CrystalDiskInfo only looks at SMART data and doesn't do a real test. If you run the windows check disk and if finds errors, have it fix them and then I would back everything up in case the HDD bites the dust.

Last check your graphics card. Is the temp ok on the card?

Do the checks mentioned above, post results.
If you're able, check CPU and GPU temps as well.

Nevertheless, i must disagree with everything else said above, while HDD are indeed much slower, that speed isn't shown in rendering, only in loadings... So getting a new SSD won't solve the problem neither decreasing the settings since his hardware is much more than enough for any current game.

Also, what's the resolution you're playing?

Im playing in 1440p

Alright so i did the tests And yes my hdd is 100% pegged when i am playing games but windows found no errors with the disc check. This is so strange becouse i have never had this problem before with the same hardware

check which process is taking the most amount of the HD

I'm having the same problems described above. Models sometimes don't render fully or at all in Battlefront 2 or The Division 2. In D2 just running through the streets will make buildings and cars won't load their high def models or load at all, leaving holes in buildings that I can see through. Disk usage at 100% as well.

In the division 1 this would happen because the threads do not synchronize and lowering your FPS would fix it because the thread that would faster then the others would slow down,I bet in d2 it's the exact same thing.
