Games Problem .

Hello guys from about 2 weeks i experience a problem whit my pc while i run games .
I play for example Dead Island 20 minutes and at the end of a chapter or something important the game freeze such as pc . I don't know hot to fix this , i have the same problem at many games not only this one . Please help me , thank you !

What's your temps like? What's your system specs?

cpu : amd athlon 64 x2 3.0 ghz 6000+ video card : nvidia gt 520 1gb ram: 2,5gb ddr2

ya.. it could be a few different things.... hard ware or some corruption in windows.

the easiest and first thing you should do is make sure your drivers are all current and updated if needed. and blow the rig out of dust.

Also what PSU, and your system temps? Make sure it's clean, like Skitszo said.

the games run pretty well , no massive lags just freezes which i don't know why appear , the drivers are okay and oh .. the dust but i think the dust is not a problem .

Blow it out.
physically uninstall and re-seat all your parts and cables
If you want you can re-thermal paste your CPU
verify your hard drive isn't starting to fail- Hard Disk Sentinel.
verify your memory isn't throwing out errors- memtest
test your PSU-- can buy cheap ones from amazon- or throw in a known good PSU.

if you really want to get best results if its a software issue then nuke the hard drive with a new fresh OS install.
