I replaced an old logitech keyboard and mouse with the marvellous MS Keys S Combo and deleted the old drivers from device manager. On restart, two keyboards show up in the initial bios screen and they are back in device manager with a note that they had been deleted. Google only advises what I did or an approach that would stop any microsoft drivers being retrieved, which is too drastic. I only want those particular ones not replaced. It appears unable to distinguish between the old and new drivers which are probably the same but I don't need two. Hardly an important detail but I would like to understand why it is happening.

Yes that's the one. Excellent piece of hardware. Old ones were about the cheapest but popular that Logi made. Having disconnected the hardware and deleted the drivers I don't understand why they should reappear, especially when they have been replaced. Perhaps as a safety factor so it isn't possible to lose connection to the hardware and be without keyboard and mouse control which I believe is difficult to sort.
