[SOLVED] Games started stuttering randomly after upgrading

Hello everyone,

Recently i upgraded my motherboard and processor along with installing a new SSD. the first weeks performance was great, but now everything is running very slow and stuttering really bad despite my PC being pretty powerful for the most part. Ive listed my specs below in hopes someone who knows more than I do can help. Thanks in advance.

Intel core i7 9700k 6.60 ghz CPU
NVIDIA RTX 2080 Super
motherboard: ASUS PRIME Z390-P
16 gigs RAM
Windows 10 Home 64 bit

Did you do a fresh install of Windows when you upgraded as that is a very important step?

to have a look what the problem could be:

update Intel management engine and chipset driver

eventually update the BIOS

ok well we all learn these things at some point.
Also install the latest BIOS for your motherboard, GPU driver and chipset drivers.
