Games started to lag after installing on my new SSD

So I bought this SSD: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA12K5UF4427&Description=kingston%20a400&cm_re=kingston_a400-_-20-242-401-_-Product
I know it's not high-end, but it should be better than the HDD I used before.

After installing it, & installing games I'm starting to get lag spikes which lasts like 6-7 seconds in for example PUBG. I did not have this problem when I had the game installed on my HDD.
Any suggestions on how to solve this would be a big help!

The model is: Kingston A400 480GB

how much space was left on the SSD after you noticed the lag? if you fill an SSD drive up too much it will take a performance hit

i had the same problem, i had to update the firmware from kingston ssd manager and got fixed bud ssd must be 2nd drive to apply the fix
