Question Games stopping and crashing, blaming graphics card

Whenever I play games with greater-than-average simulation (e.g. BeamNG, Spintires, Forza Horizon 4), they inevitably crash after a while of playing. The amount of time that passes before a crash ranges from long (sometimes not even crashing before I quit in the case of BeamNG) to less than a minute (FH4).
As a result of this, I haven't been able to actually start the main gameplay of it, which is incredibly frustrating. When BeamNG crashes, it throws a "Fatal GPU Error", but I don't think my GPU is the problem. This is because I have tried all these games with two GPUs - the one that came with my computer (an MSI GTX 1050) and the one I got as an upgrade (a Zotac 1060 6GB) - but the problem persists. Even though I got the 1060 second hand (stupid, I know), I think 'what are the chances that they both have the same specific error?'. That's why I think it's more likely that it's something else in my computer causing the crashes. Is there any way I can find out what's causing this (be it the graphics cards or anything else)?

Basic specs:

CPU:
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Motherboard: ASRock AB350M Pro4
GPU(s): MSI GTX 1050 2GB/Zotac 1060 6GB (second hand :/)

full system spec? include make and model of the psu
cpu/gpu temp during the game?
I've just managed to get Forza to run normally for the first time ever at 30fps, lowest possible graphics, and am at the second race, however it took 3 restarts of the computer to get the program past the intro.

All the crash dumps I've looked at say error 0xc0000005, which is, I think, an access violation. I think it's pretty likely that my RAM is the problem. I do personally think my ram is a bit dodgy, too.
