I am starting to get a life, so video games steal less of my life than it used too (still too much though) but play(ed):
Morrowind
Oblivion
COD4 Online
KotOR II
KotOR (never could get into this one much...i played the second one first)
Mass Effect

I think the worst was Morrowind. I would play literally all day, and sometime during the school year i had the stupid idea that I would try and beat the main quest as fast as possible...took me a week (practically straight). Video games...they're my life outside my life. I played video games when I had no social life...now that I actually have one it's hard to play it. Only when I'm supposed to be doing homework..

I've lost track of time playing countless games but two that jump out at me for specific reasons:

Madden, or really any sports game with a good GM mode. I'll get stuck in a dynasty wheeling and dealing all night long, but always feel very unfulfilled when it's all said and done. It almost always happens the same way. I start just wanting a little sports action which deteriorates throughout the night until I'm just simming season after season trying to build a dynasty. When it's all said and done I'm always like "Did I really just waste my time on that?"

The other game is Civilization. Anybody who's played these games know just how bad it can be. The turn based pace of the game is incredibly deceiving. The other thing is that despite the game not being storyline driven each game creates it's own unique story which sucks you in. Many a game has been dragged on and on throughout the night because I refused to go to bed before destroying the Japanese empire.

OH yes.

'Another Visitorrrrr. Stay a while. Stay foreverrrrr!'

Damn, that game is awesome. Wizball Kept me going for a long time too.

And Head over Heals.

Yeah, I see a few here I've fallen victim to:
Oblivion
Caesar 3
Age of Empires series.

One I got hooked on for a while was Sacrifice. Anyone else ever play that?

And I've spend FAR too long playing the IL2 series of games.

I can only think of F.E.A.R. Extraction Point. Beated it in 1 & a 1/2 days. I started playing it on the evening on the first day, and the second day I spent most of the afternoon playing, and I stayed overnight playing it. When I beated it and realised it was past 3 in the morning, I knew the game had catched me.
I was kinda scary, playing the hospital level at 2 o' clock in the morning, with the sound pretty loud (if you played that game you'll know why that stage is scary).

I used to be much worse than I am now (probably because I have more bills to pay :) but I remember losing days on master of orion 1&2 and diablo 2. I remember how I would suddenly wake up and realize I was desperate to go to the toilet or find without warning that I was sitting in a pitch dark house with only the light of the screen and a defeated cigarette to see by. Good times.

The weird thing is that you can zone out on mindless and mindful games equally as long as there's a number rising with every click or an item with a cooler name, or a building still left to be queued at that completely worthless outpost you spitefully decided to spawn 3 cigarettes ago just so the last terrified AI would have NOTHING and you would have EVERYTHING!! HARHARHAR!!! And then when their terror had subsided and you had wiped their little eyes dry with gifts and "trade agreements"....thats when all 10 of your uber-armies descend on them from every direction and deal out the meanest possible death available in the game.

And then you build a base there.
