Games will crash, no matter what.

I have been having an issue with my computer, since upgrading to Windows 10, every-time I try to play a game, it will be open for around 15 mins, and then the application will crash, no-matter what is happening, causing me to need to re-open my game. I have the latest drivers for my rig, re-installed all drivers and even cleaned the video drivers at-least three times. I even resorted to going back to Windows 7, however it seems somehow that the Issue still remains.

This is extremely weird because before upgrading to Windows 10, this never occurred. Any suggestions on what I should do will be appreciated,

Hi there,

Games can crash due to software problems (OS files, drivers, unpatched games, etc) or hardware (power, heat, faulty components, changes to BIOS or clock settings, etc). So from what you said, there may be a problem with some OS files (I am not familiar with OS file so I cannot help there.) So make sure you've got all the latest drivers, MS updates, Windows service pack and game patches. I know Windows just had an update a few days ago so make sure you are all up to date.

This could possibly be an overheating issue so make a note of your temperatures. If you're running any programs in the background, close them down while gaming to help isolate the problem.

Look in Event Viewer to see if any problems are listed at the time...

If these do not help, it could be a hardware issue so I would run a stress test on certain things like your graphics card.

Good luck.
