Gaming at 120Hz with 3D HDTV?

Hello, I want to be able to play my PC games at 100+fps and I would like to save a few dollars if possible by buying a 3D TV instead of a TV and a monitor. Here is a link to a thread that shows some 3D sets can display a game in 2D at up to 120fps from a PC.http://
I've been looking at the Vizio E420D-A0 and the Samsung UN40FH6030 and I would like to know if anybody has been able to get 100+fps from either without lowering the resolution. Are there any other 40-42 inch 3D TVs in the $500-$600 price range that might work? If I do have to get a monitor then would this Asus be a good onehttp://? Thanks.
