I've searched far and wide for this, never any videos that correspond.

It's my first time building, and I'd like to know just some simple tips on good BIOS settings for my gaming pc, which RAID to use and whatever else is important if I'm missing something, before I install Windows 7

Components
Mobo: Asus z97-P
PSU: Corsair cx600m
CPU: Intel i5 4690k (Quad core)
GPU: MSI GTX GeForce 780
SSD: Samsung 128gb
HDD: Seagate 1tb
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8gb (x2)
Random cheap optical drive
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

Solution
Usually you can just run with the default settings. RAID in your case wouldn't be beneficial as you don't have multiple Hard Drives. Just make sure your SATA mode is set to AHCI (which is default on pretty much all modern motherboards now) for optimal SSD functionality and you'll be fine. Other than that, set your RAM to use its XMP profile to get the most out of it, and you don't really need to do anything else in the BIOS unless you want to overclock or run into a specific problem.
