You'll love those fans, best lights I have ever seen, and I love LEDs. They're very quiet too, even under heavy load of 4k max settings. My case lits up like a Christmas tree with cooler master blue LED lights, I got green too, and red from my GPUs :)

Not sure I would have went with the CM fans, I've always had issues with their fans except for the SP120's, which are only for specific situations since they are about at loud as a box fan on high, but flow a LOT of air. Those Jetflo's are kinda loud too and require adapters to adjust to specific RPM. They are PWM though so hopefully your system can keep them toned down when they're not being pushed.

And as far as the disk drives go, I don't care what anybody around here says, or does, I'd want one on all my systems, except like my Windows tablet, as I occasionally like to pop a Redbox rental in to watch while I'm waiting somewhere and can't gain a connection there. Even for my desktop, there are good reasons for having on, aside from ripping disks and aside from any Windows related installations or applications. At least an external USB Blu-Ray, for sharing with devices.

I have bought all CM fans for my case and I can barely hear a thing, even under heavy loads when playing 4k games. Never had a single problem with any of my fans, keeps my computer very cool too. So I guess we have had different luck with them :/

The reason why I didn't choose Noctua is because their products are a big ugly, I like having some style to my personal computer rather than pure performance, but that's just me :)

Thanks guys. I went with Noctua for the cpu cooler, they do make fantastic fans, but they're not pretty. Noctua is usually a no brainer for quality, but I figured with the amount of airflow I'm hoping to have in the system, that I could do with something other than Noctua. And I didn't know what to get. So I got the jetflo. Ty for that suggestion again.

On another note, NewEgg just notified me that the EVGA 970 is no longer in stock. And I need to choose another. Which should i go for?

Damn, the gygabite is sold out too...

I was about to, but I decided to get the FTW edition 04G-P4-2978-KR and on amazon those for some reason are going at almost 500$, on new egg they went at 389, so I got that instead. :) Problem solved.

Thank you lol, I don't have them yet. I'll post pics when they all arrive and as I'm putting it together as well as final product. I also ordered my brother some stuff to build him a new pc as well. But not as potent as mine.

That's very nice of you :) I'm getting this new Samsung curved monitor for my brother for Christmas, he has no idea what's coming, lol, I just ordered it today too, will be here tomorrow. :D

I can't wait til I can experience a curved display too, I wish the new AX900 of my TV was curved, but its not :(

Actually, their "redux" line of fans are gray and black and their industrial series fans, that kick out major CFM's if sheer performance is what you want and noise isn't the biggest issue) are purely black with only dark brown rubber vibration pads on the corners. I agree the standard Noctua colors leave something to be desired, but personally, I'm more interested in performance and sound levels than what they look like. If aesthetics are important, the Noiseblocker fans are not bad and perform well with very low sound pressure.

You're pissing me off with all these curved displays and shiny fans. Nah, just kidding. I'm waiting to see them in person as curved displays may be just one of those things that some might like it a lot, and others hate it. Kinda like 3D gaming. It's a great LOOKING idea, I'm just not sure if I'll like it in actual usage.

I like 3D, but wearing those glasses for too long is kinda annoying.

I'm not crazy about 3d gaming, haven't bothered. And I thought curved TVs are absurd until I saw a 60" or 70" one in best buy. It looked fantastic.

I want a 65 inch UHD TV that is curved with displayport 1.3 :D

I want VR display wireless contact lenses that are configurable to any resolution and an infinitely selectable amount of real estate with gesture navigation. Those are the curved displays I'm looking forward to. Hee hee. That'll be the good stuff. I mean, if I can 3-D print a Big Kahuna burger, why not?

Hi guys. Problem. Put together brothers pc. Turns on. Led lights red solid no beep. Fans all then on. Video card fan turns in. But that's it. Doesn't post. The internal speaker for the mobo is making a rhythmic clicking noise. I remove the speaker and no noise. So it's not hdd or anything else. I can't figure it out. I removed cpu and put it in again. Turned it on without cpu cooler just to see if the clicking stopped after adjusting the pcu and after a minute cpu fan went louder and then the pc shut off. Now with the cpu cooler its again making the clicking noise. Please help.
