Hello,
I am looking for some advice/expertise in making a PC decision. This computer would mainly be used for gaming. Need something on a budget. Here is what i am between.


AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 2.8GHz
Processor 64 bit Six-Core 8GB
AMD Radeon HD 6670 1GB


Intel Core i5-2320 3.0GHz
Processor 64 bit Quad-Core 8GB
AMD Radeon HD 6770 1GB

I am leaning toward second one, but could someone let me know if "core" amount really matters much??

the phenom scores 5200 and the i5 scores 6037

hardly any games making use of 4 cores never mind 6

The second one is better for gaming stronger GPU and the AMD X6 currently brings nothing to the table in performance over AMD X4 at the same speed.

Even if the processor in the second one wasn't better, the faster GPU makes it a better gaming system.
