Hi,

Game developers usually favor either AMD or nVIDIA when making a game. I'm deciding on a new graphics card (Fury X or 980ti) and

all I'd like to know is
any info about which games below will cater to an AMD or nVIDIA card (ie- Metro 2033/LL and GTA5 built for nVIDIA and another example Witcher 3 too, things like PhysX and hairworks, etc) Thanks !!!!

choosing between the fury and the 980 ti - i would go with the 980 ti, lower power consumption, does not need liquid cooling, and nvidia driver support, geforce experience for 1 click game settings.

all would favor nvidia - except for hitman, even then amd will still perform on par with the nvidia.

to sum it up, all games even favoring amd or nvidia will work just fine on both. - but usually nvidia is more favored by game developers.

then I will get an EVGA Hybrid 980ti watercooled and OC it like a muther. One last question!! Will AMD's Fury X support for Vulkan, DX12 and Mantle be a winner for PC gaming? The list I have above is almost entire of games that are consoles/PC (which will be made with Vulkan). A part of me was wondering if that would show an enormous edge later. AMD made a comment that they believe it will.

I freaking love PhysX and was never able to use it well at all and had to always deactivate it...that's the final caveat to going with AMD. No one uses Havok anymore so PhysX is a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge PC win for nVIDIA and I have 55 games at the moment and at least 35 have PhysX, but ironically I've never been able to use it on all my games since I've had HD 6950's
