I need a 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset, but I can't find any. My laptop's sound card isn't replaceable, therefore I need a headset with integrated 7.1 Surround Sound Card.

I need a built-in mic, because I will be playing on console too my Xbox One.

You dont need a surround sound headphones to know the position, a stereo headset with a good soundstage will probably work better and sound better. You can also buy an additional mic and a connector for the xboxe's mixed jack on the controller.
If you dont want all the hassle of doing that you can check out Steelseries Siberia 200 i read some good reviews on them

One of the best on the market: Kingston HyperX Cloud II 7.1 Channel Headset. I've been using it for a week and it has the best surround sound and bass I've every heard in headphone. Great for FPS games you can hear people walking behind you and what direction too!

Lot's of choices. I agree that stereo is better than fake surround.

For XB1 I'd say the Hyper X is a good choice, as long as you have the chat adapter thingy. There are a lot better choices that are actual headphones with a separate mic addition, if good sound is important to you.

. I actually review gaming headsets on my youtube channel. If it's not out of bounds for the forum I could direct you there.

Yeah, Lol. I actually changed my mind a few days ago, and told myself that I will not buy any headset, as there is way too many people saying that headset will have bad audio quality. I might be wrong, but it seems right to me, that if something has additional features, it has less quality.

I took a look into the Sennheiser HD 598 headphone. Is it good for gaming, will it work for my laptop and if I use the Sennheiser console adapter, will it work with my Xbox One?
