Gaming Headset's Mic Not Working

Okay, so the deal with my Headset is that I've been using this for a couple of months now and it's worked perfectly and I haven't had a single issue with it. But like a week ago the mic just spontaneously stopped working.

The mic still works because when I got on my sister's laptop and checked it through the sound setting the mic was showing that it was picking up sound and when I downloaded discord on her computer it worked as well.

Are you using Windows 10, and if so, have you recently updated?

There's a microphone privacy options page. The latest insider's update has it blocking all apps by default.

Hit Windows key and search for "microphone privacy settings"
Hit "Allow access to the microphone on this device"
Switch "Allow apps to access your microphone" to on

I looked it up and it was actually off but the thing is discord doesn't come up as one of the apps.
