Gaming Laptop not running game well

Hi, I recently bought the MSI PE60 7RD-1042 from newegg which is a gaming laptop. It has pretty good specs but it lags on every single game I play. Even game that shouldn't lag like Infestation : The new Z. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me find the solution to my problems cause when i check reviews of the exact same laptop, they say that it run games really well. For example, the guy i watched the review from played the witcher 3 at 50 fps and I can only run a shit game at like 35 fps...

Here are the specs : i7 7th Gen 7700HQ (2.80 GHz), Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050, 8 GB RAM.

It's a GTX 1050? Paired with an i7?? Besides that, have you checked if your laptop is plugged into power while playing? Sometimes that's the issue. Or try turning your settings down. Make sure your laptop isn't set to run games on integrated graphics, that's also a very common issue.
