Approximate Purchase Date: Today is Wednesday, I would like to buy this by Monday.
Budget Range: $900-$1100 (before shipping - the lesser you can get it the better. I plan on buying an Xbox One and Halo: Master Chief collection aswell so I'll be in the hole when it comes to my bank account in a couple of months)
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Streaming/Gaming at High to Ultra if possible (720p at 60fps seems to be a popular setup), Photoshop/Illustrator, Internet surfing, Netflix watching for the more lonely days...
Are you buying a monitor: No, I have the BenQ RL2455HM and that is good enough for me - for now.
Parts to Upgrade: Building from nothing
Do you need to buy OS: Yes, Windows 8.1 please
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Anywhere that'll be affordable and quality is fine (even a Microcenter, but don't get everything from there please).
Location: Levittown, PA - United States
Parts Preferences: Intel seems to be the better/more popular choice, so yeah... Intel.
Overclocking: No?
SLI or Crossfire: Don't know what this means.
Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Additional Comments: I would like to use the Zalman Z11 Plus case ($54.99), but try to focus on better parts than a fancy case if you can't fit it in my budget. If you can't, try to find a plain case with a large side window. If the Zalman Z11 Plus does not have a good air/cooling system then don't use it (I haven't really looked into reviews of it as of now). I want a good air system (maybe an extra fan IF NEEDED?).
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My current PC is from 2008 and it's just an office computer I got from my mother's workplace :/. I want to start live streaming games in high quality. I have a headset/mic, webcam, keyboard, and mouse; all I need is the PC. Games that I am currently interested in playing:
- Counter Strike: Global Opposition
- DayZ Standalone, Arma III
- Minecraft
- Miscellaneous Indie games
- Basically any game I want to play and be able to stream in great quality
Thanks for all help. I know this might have been a LOT of information... but any gaming PC is a big purchase and a lot of thought should go into it.
Sincerely,
Nate.
