I would like to ask for any suggestions for a gaming monitor (18-20") around £50 - £100.
I would like to also use HDMI cable to connect the monitor with I/O from my build,
but I don't know if the type of cable changes the quality of the image on the monitor's
screen. I found HDMI cables on amazon and ebay for a really cheap price £1 - £5:
REALMAX® 1m 2m 3m 4m 5m 10m HDMI Cable High Speed Gold Premium Quality

Do you think this would be a good choice? Is this cable worth those £3??

Solution
i dont know anything about the monitor and stuff, but if you buy a high refresh rate monitor you should (if possible) use displayport. hdmi is fine for refresh rates under 60Hz. if you are on 1080p you should also use hdmi or dvi. anything higher than 1080p i would recommend displayport.

buy the cheapest cables you can get, for hdmi and dvi the difference is very very little to none with expensive cables. (i dont know about displayport but i think it's the same)
