Gaming on TV?

Sry guys but i dont understand how things work. Do i need strong gpu in order to play games on my tv? Or tv has its own gpu? Im not talking about some AAA games but some esports games. For example will be i able to do it with my gtx 650ti or rx 460?

No, the TV does not have its own GPU. That is all done on your computer via your GPU. Either the GTX 650ti or RX 460 should be able to support the type of gaming you described on a typical 1080p or lower resolution HDTV.

So i just need to put in cables like HDMI from gpu to tv, find my HDMI channel and that's it right?
