motherboard : Asus M5A97 LE R2.0

processor : amd fx 6300

vga : sapphire hd 7870 xt with boost

Ram:G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)

psu: Cooler Master Extreme 2 525W PSU

There actually are some good quailty Cooler Master PSUs out there. Or so I've heard. But like Onus said, Seasonic and SuperFlower make much better psus. Anyways back to the op. Could you tell us your budget, what res you'll be playing in, what high end games do you plan to play and such?

so with this build there were some great discounts on newegg. i know the psu is over kill for your system, but it leaves room for upgrades later, its a good manufacturer and was deep discounted. kept the gpu the same, good choice. went with a micro mobo bc it saved you some money and still has all the goodies you need for a $500 build. i busted your budget but i think youll be happier with it. leaves room for upgrades later when you have some more $$$.

the apu comes w the cpu and is always a good back up to have in case something goes wrong w your gpu and you have to RMA it, there is a discrete gfx card in the build i suggested, a radeon 7870.
