GPU: MSI GTX970 gaming 4G
RAM: Kingston Value RAM 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB
PSU: Seasonic S12II 80+ Bronze 620W
Casing: Corsair Carbide 400R
SSD: Intel 530 Series 120GB
ODD: Liteon 24x DVDRW

The motherboard will require a bios update. I would drop down to a 4690 and get a better chipset like a h97 or z97. What's the cas on that ram?

Looks good to me, that's going to be an awesome build. Mobo doesn't seem to support sli though, keep that in mind for future upgrades, might want to get a better chipset

The build looks well balanced except the MoBo, which is quite low (specs wise) compared to the overall build. I'd go for H97 as the current one may require a BIOS update. Also, a 520W S12II will do the job just fine, if you want to save up a bit. What specific model is your RAM?

CAS 10, you can get better Latency for this speed. What is your location and do you have any website you might get the components from? Might as well check out Ripjaws, Vengeance Pro, Mushkin Redline or similar sticks with CAS 9 or less latency.

For the MoBo, unless you want to SLI in future (in which case, you'd need to get a better PSU in future), a H97 MoBo would do.

So i switch out my mobo for MSI H97 Gaming 3/5 -depnds on my budget and CML PC1600C9/10 VENGEANCE 2X 8gb would it be ok? oh i live in Malaysia

Good choice on MoBo. But RAM is still CAS 10, see if you can get a CL 9 or lower.

The stock one works just fine unless you OC, which you can't on a non-K SKU. So no you do not need an aftermarket heatsink.

4790k comes with a stock heatsink as well, which will do the job just fine unless you plan to OC.

You can't OC on a B MoBo, you'd need a Z MoBo for that.
