Gaming pc build

As AMD prices look good Intel is the way to go. You will get a better bang for your buck. Nothing AMD has will match the last two gens of Intel processors.

As for the hard drive, those WD Blue drives are horrible. We use them here at work and nothing but failure after failure. Go with the WD blacks or enterprise drives. Not much more expensive and worth every penny.

For the processor you want something quad core for gaming. Dual core just really doesn't cut it anymore. What games are you looking to play?

Good but that PSU is too low wattage for your setup, go back to the EVGA one you had on your previous build. Also the Core i3 is a bit weak for gaming, move up to a Core i5 at least

- Go for CM Hyper 212 Evo, cheaper and as good as H60
- Go for 8GB 1600 MHz CL9 RAM, Cheaper and as good as 1866 MHz Rams
- Go for Asus M5A99FX pro R2.0 or Asrock 990FX Extreme 3
- Go for R9-290/290x or GTX 970 with the money you saved on aftermarket cooler/Ram

OR

- Go for core i5-4460 + stock cooler + H97 board + 500+ W PSU
