Hey guys,

This is my first gaming pc. I want to run games at ultra like bf4, far cry 4 and also can gat v run ultra on the r9 280. I have purchased everything but the graphics card. Any recommendations for cards would be really appreciated.

A 290x cause 970's are expensive.
Replaced the monitors with cheap (but really really good ones, with nice bezel).
Replaced the mobo with a better chipset one.
Downgraded the i5 cause that won't make a difference.
Changed the case because = REASONS!! :lol:

Edit= I just read now that you only have to buy the gpu. Just get a 280x (though if budget allows get a 290/x, the extra vram will help)

Lol, you said the 970 is much more expensive, yet its only 15 US dollars more, and offers ~10% better performance. And also uses less power, you can save money both on psu and power bill.
