I went with a red theme just so it looks nice.

It is a really good gaming build.
CPU: great for gaming and works really well.
Motherboard: This motherboard is an entry level but great value motherboard. It works great and has everything you will need.
RAM: This RAM is great quite fast. It is a CAS9 and great value.
HDD: This is an around great HDD
GPU: You can go for the Gigabyte it makes no diffrence. Therefore I went with MSI as it will just match the theme and make it look badass. It is a really good GPU and will handle a lot of games and ultra and high res.
CASE: Love this case. personally I like the SPEC-3, but this is still great and cool.
PSU: This is quite a good quality PSU...

Whats your max budget?
I want to add and improve and remove :) eg. you have a non overclockable CPU so don't need a CPU cooler and can put that into a nice GPU.

and dont need a Z97 board if you not overclocking the CPU

Sapphire Radeon R9 290 + Corsair CX 500W is not a good idea. I suggest you this instead:

Optical drive: This is a good one.
OS: Standed.
Monitor: Will be great for gaming.

Hope this helped
