i this good for gaming
gtx 280
pentium g 3220 3.0 ghz
6gb ram

i want to play assassins creed rogue ,black flag , gta 5 etc . on medium to high settings with at least 40 fps
on 720 p

It's kinda <mod edit> to be honest, doubt it could run those games very well even at 720p

You will probobly get the same performance as a 740 and with that CPU I doubt you will be able to even get to medium on those games sadly.
