no need for 16GB of ram, most games could barely even get to 8GB.

If you do not plan on adding a second gpu in the future then you can get the xfx 550w psu or something similar.

i usually dont go 27" unless its 1440p since i like the dense pixels

Very true. He could also go with IPS for around the same price (maybe even a bit cheaper).

only thing i don't like about it is the 7ms, i like going with 5ms or lower since it feels really fluid.
