I have $250. I already have a 1 TB hard drive and 8 GB of DDR3 RAM. First, is it okay to use the DDR3? Second, i need a CPU, GPU, Power Supply, and a motherboard that is DDR3 compatible. And a case. I also want to order everything from amazon. Thanks!

I would sell the RAM and go with DDR4 so you can go with a newer CPU. For $250 you may want to hold off on a GPU and use the iGPU off the CPU for now until you have enough funds to get a good gaming GPU (if that is what your intending to do). For around your budget (after selling RAM) I would go with this to start (Black/Red Theme build).

If you don't want to sell your RAM I think your better off looking into the used market for the parts you need. Also why just Amazon? There are plenty of other respectable sites through PCPer that give better prices.
