[SOLVED] Gaming PC or Xbox Series X

Hi everyone,
how much would it cost to build a PC as strong as the Xbox Series X for gaming?
I am trying to decide if I should get a PC or a new console.

you could build a budget ryzen pc that almost match or go past One X.

I did some reading and it seems it would cost $1500 for an equally strong PC compared to the Xbox Series X.
Is that accurate?

2 totally different ballparks.
PC has far more utility than console even if gaming is the only reason you had one assembled.
All console has going for it is exclusive titles - oh, and maybe fewer cheaters in multiplayer, sans cross-play.

I disagree. I'm a pc guy and I would strongly recommend series x for gaming. Especially if you get ultimate pass with it.
12 Tflops gpu is equal to 1080ti, 8 core 3.8 ghz cpu, 1 tb ssd, near silent, instant resume in games, hdmi 2.1 for 4k at 60fps. Show me pcpartpicker list at $500 that will match that.
If you need to browse internet you can use your phone, I'm not sure if many people use pc to browse internet, maybe grandmas. If you use office, music or graphic software, or want best games at best quality go with pc, but its gonna cost you, and more than $1500.
