Gaming pc wont display on my tv

so my Gaming pc that i just built is hooked up to my tv and no picture displays, i have everything connected properly but i dont have a hard drive with os in it yet what could make it not display a picture

Good! I never thought to ask if you were "rebooting" the TV after connecting the computer via HDMI.

It was something with the tv where I needed to swap from one hdmi to a different one then boot it and back and now it works

I am having the same issue and it's killing me. Can you please detail what you did to make yours work???

So I plugged my Pc into the tv and turned on the Pc then the tv but started the tv on a different hdmi and switched to the correct one then restarted the Pc
