Well... you can pick up some memory that is on the verge of being obsolete:

or you can do an upgrade to a new motherboard also and get newer ram:

Then try sticking with the Windows xp for a bit.
As a caveat, I only matched the memory to the type 667 for your board, and 800 for the other board. I didn't dive deep into the compatibility. You will want to double check that. Likewise with the mother board, and your exact cpu model.
