Hello, I ask you to help me please. I have a Dell Inspiron 15r 5537 Core i7 processor, 8 GB ram and 2 GB AMD dedicated graphics card also it has the ingreated intel graphics card and I guess its 1.7 GB but what I am sure of that its more than 1 GBs anyways, a laptop with these specs must run any game at highest settings because it passes any game requirement also I have saw some people on youtube playing on the laptop also while frapsing and ofcourse using highest settings and everything was ok, but when I tried games it was so laggy and FPS droping on lowest settings and disabling some graphics too. So I knew something was wrong when I searched about this I found a program which let you know how your GPU is working and it's ''GPU-Z Powertech'' it has sensors and when I opened a game like Assassins Creed Black Flag which is highest recommended requirements is ''Core i5 Processor, 1GB graphics card and 4 GB of ram'' the sensors showed me that the ''Dynamic Graphics Card'' ''Intel'' uses from 1000 to 1200 MBs and the ''Dedicated'' ''AMD'' uses 0 MB although I said maybe the problem is because the game is high or something although I know its wrong but was just testing so I opened a so weak game like GTA San Andreas and it was like any other game so lagging and fps drops although they both can work on 1700 MB and 2560 MB. So I guess and sure that the problem is because Intel Graphics Card isn't doing its best and AMD isn't even working.
Notes : I have installed all the drivers with the last updates. when I click the right mouse button on the desktop and choose screen resolution then advanced settings it shows me
''Adapter'' ''Intel (R) HD Graphics HD Family'' Chip Type: Intel (R) HD Graphics HD Family DAC type: Internal Adapter String:
Intel (R) HD Graphics HD 4400 BIOS Information: Intel Video BIOS
Total Available Graphics Memory: 6600 MB
Dedicated Graphics Memory: 2560 MB
System Video Memory:0 MB
Shared System Memory: 4040 MB
I made everything in Graphics Properties (AMD Control Panel)'' at the highest performance and maximized performance at both AC and battery.
I made the game applications at ''High Performance'' at ''Graphics Switchable''
I made everything on ''Power Options'' at Highest Performance and 100 using on both battery and AC adapter on.
I already searched about anything about graphics in BIOS setup but didn't find anything.
Also every time I unplug the AC adapter from the laptop the games get more laggy and when I put it again it becomes better, although they both are <mod edit> and <mod edit>, Help me with these <mod edit> problems. Its been more than month since I bought this machine and still not having fun or happy, please just help me!!!
