I am not very good at picking out computer parts. Would anyone be willing to put together a list of parts for a decent rig that i can upgrade in the future with my $1000 budget? I would like to be able to stream my games on twitch and i like intel over amd. any input would be appreciated.

Will you need an operating system, monitor, mouse or keyboard included in the $1,000 budget?

i dont mean to be rude but that build just isnt good why would u put non k cpu on a z97 board ?? why spend extra money on 16gb ram ?? why $120 case ?? 5400 rpm hdd ?

I added a ssd. Had to compromise parts on the ssd. You could re configure the ssd build to have the other cpu.

to fit the ssd i had to downgrade a few parts but mostly cosmetic changes
also if you have microcenter nearby you can save about $70 there for cpu/mobo combo and reinvest that back into better case.

Solution

I have mouse and keyboard, haven't decided on os and i'll be hooking it up to my tv

Thank you! seems like everything is very solid and i also like the fact that you took sound into consideration and picked out some case fans

You are very welcome. Feel free to ask any questions you might have about the build.

Also, to help keep things quieter, you might want to pick up a fan controller in the future to be able to turn them up when you want performance, and down when you want quiet.
