Gaming Rig Hardware Replacements

The time has come to upgrade my gaming rig and I need some decent replacement ideas..

Current Hardware:

600W PSU
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
G41D3+ Mobo with LGA 775 Socket
8GB DDR3 RAM
GEFORCE GT 240 GPU

I will be replacing the GPU with a Radeon R7 260x, I just need some ideas for Mobo+CPU that won't break the bank.

You need to give us some idea of what "breaks the bank". For some, $0.50 breaks the bank. For others, $500 is nothing. Give us a budget to work with.
