Hi guys,

For about 2½ year now i've had some wierd stutter (mostly in fps games)

In the past i've been upgrading following parts.

PSU - upgraded to a corsair 850w RM series
GPU - r9 290
CPU cooler - noctua DH-N15
Case for better airflow - NZXT 810
RAM - 16GB ddr3 2400 mhz kingston hyperx

The only parts i did not upgrade is my motherboard and my CPU

Asus z-87k
intel core i5 4670k

Could the two parts above, be the result in lagging? one of the two?
I've tried almost everything possible, and i can't figure out a reason. So im almost sure that the CPU and the Motherboard is causing the lags, but whats your opinion?

Your GPU/CPU combo shouldn't be seeing much lag. Can you please give specific game titles that you're playing?

It is possible that the lag/stuttering is caused by your internet connection. Are you using a wired or wireless connection? What is the quality of your connection?

Im using a wired 20/10 connection, which running as it should - i have a normal ping on 30-40 no delay on anything.

im playnig CSGO mostly on a semi pro lvl, so it need to be smooth - im running 144hz aswell and im running 250-400 fps. When my FPS runs at 250 i can feel it, but when its on 300 and up i can't..

Games - CSGO, overwatch - Just almost all fps games.

Your CPU and motherboard are not the problem. Did you test the quality of your internet connection?

Also, there is no reason to run your FPS that high, why don't you cap it? By lagging are you saying that you usually get 300 and it's dropping to something like 150? If that's the case then I'm done.

No, it doesn't help to cap my fps...
When im capping my fps to like 159 ingame, im lagging.. i can't cap my fps, then im lagging to. i can cap my fps to 300, then im not lagging. but if it's under the 250-200 then i can't.

Im running 144hz, but still not a problem.
