Gaming setup upgrade suggestions 2018

Hi i wanna upgrade my computer to i5 8th gen 8400 with 8gb dd4 corsair ram and i am gonna use my old asus gtx 750 ti 2gb oc edition and corsiar 450watt vs smps for now which i shall upgrade in the coming months.Please suggest what kind of gaming performance i can get from these configurations on latest games like battlefield 1 gfar cry 5 etc and if you have any suggestions/alterations with the spec withing that budget im all ears

You would get 25-30 fps with latest games on medium settings with 720p resolution. You need to upgrade your graphics card. If you are in a tight budget then go for 1050ti or 1050ti mini. It will give you around 50 fps in 1080p resolution with ultra settings.
