I am trying to make a good gaming system that's under $1000 that I can upgrade to since my current one sucks. Here is my initial attempt...

Overall, I like this build based off what I've read (reviews and specs) and also how well I think it'll run. FYI, I like the BitDefender Raider case not only because it's cool looking, but also because it comes with 3 120mm fans

EDIT: Oh yeah! I forgot to include a list of games I'd like to play! Duh!
Planetside 2, Starcraft 2, BF4, World of Warcraft, Minecraft (yes, I know, but I'd like to add some shaders and maybe record a little bit with FRAPS), DOTA 2 and LoL. I also dabble a little in 3D animation, usually with Blender (because it's free)

Also, I wanted the Blu-Ray reading optical drive to watch movies. I have Windows 7 Professional already bought, too, so no worries about the OS. I prefer AMD and Nvidia, but whatever works, right? I am fine with overclocking; in fact, I AM going to overclock

EDIT 2: I forgot the power supply! 😀
Any suggestions?

Btw, the Case only comes with 3 fans if it's bought with BitFenix, otherwise I think it's only 1 fan...

Solution
Only disadvantage of my build is more expensive and less HDD storage
Advantage wise, stronger CPU, motherboard, and GPU.

Solution
Hey man, could you tell me what fps you get on the games you play. Because I'm building pretty the same pc with nearly same parts (660,6300 etc.) I'd hate to find out I'm building a bad pc :/ So honestly what frames do you get. I hope it's not too bad 🙁

I don't even have the computer yet 😛
The computer I have at the moment is nothing like this one

I think that the GTX 760 would be better, though, even with the higher cost

Remember that I play Planetside 2, which supports Nvidia's PhysX. So I guess that means I want Nvidia cards, not AMD

EDIT: I also want a card with APEX Turbulence (Nvidia only), but I don't know if the GTX 760 supports it

After a bit of research, I believe that APEX Turbulence is/was a feature of PhysX, but it can act independently. Therefore, I'm assuming that all GPU that supports PhysX can run APEX Turbulence, which the GTX 760 is capable of doing.

Have you checked out my suggested build from a few posts ago? I think it'll suit you better.
